He asked to borrow a chainsaw
In June a severe storm blew through Cypress TX taking down large trees, power lines and damaging buildings. Our friend’s place was in the heart of where most of the damage was and the fallen trees, limbs and debris littered their yard. The storm had done severe damage and they couldn’t get vehicles out of the driveway. He asked to borrow a chainsaw and we said no problem we will bring it over right away.
Texas Neighbors Get the Job Done!
Being who we are, and what we do, we couldn’t just show up. . . Like true Texans we grabbed our gloves, loaded the truck and showed up ready to Get the Job Done!.
With our Skid steer, 3 chainsaws and a pole saw and went to work. We used the grapple on the skid steer to move limbs and trees from the driveway first. We cut trees and limbs so that we could move and pile everything up to be hauled off later.
In about 4 hours we had everything out of the way so that they can begin the cleanup process on other damages to the home and pool.
A powerful and fast-moving storm system Wednesday night knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses in the Houston area, thousands of which were still without power Thursday afternoon. Sustained winds as powerful as 60 mph were believed to have knocked down trees and branches, causing damage to energy transition and distribution lines in areas mainly north of Houston.
